Nora Puchreiner was awarded a total of 20 medals from international design competitions. Her designs are generally based on nature: the word “Nature”, used by Puchreiner, bears an amber-green, honeycomb cover with a prickly metallic embossed detail. The examples include monkeys ‘Rodstaff’ and busts of motorbikes. Most her designs involve geometry and circular shapes. Puchreiner’s designs often have a polished glass casing on their spine, which is the basis for the baseplate. More recent designs include arboreal areas, including gullies, for which she uses the term “gesellschaft” (“collective”) Aerial photo by Charles A. Weber REFERENCES Karkaviec, L.
